Annual Giving
Gifts to the Annual Fund help close the gap between monies received from government entities and the actual cost to educate a young man at The Arthur School. Your financial support will have a direct and immediate impact on all aspects of the School - the academic program, athletics, arts, professional development, facilities, and campus life. Additionally, Annual funds provide the flexibility to respond quickly to new opportunities and unexpected needs.
The Annual Fund runs yearly from July 1st through June 30th. This year we have an Annual Fund goal of $250,000.00.

The Preston Taylor Society for Excellence
An opportunity for giving that supports three critical areas of investment for the Delores Taylor Arthur School for Young Men.
A gift of $5,000.00 or more can be designated for one of the following funds:
The Teaching Excellence Fund
In order to deliver a world-class education the Arthur School must attract and retain some of the most talented educators that our nation has to offer. A gift to this fund will allow our Leadership to offer strong compensation packages, design robust professional development programs and support teachers with the resources that will enable them to focus on their most important task: being present for our young men.
The Math, Science, and Technology Fund
We understand that each young man deserves an opportunity to explore the world through math, science, and technology. Realistically, our students will enter with a range of abilities. An investment in this area will support our program to provide math coaches, purchase equipment to create design labs and makerspace, software to support coding and design activities in computer science, as well as providing engineering projects.
The Debate, Deliberation, and Dialogue Fund
In addition to implementing debate, deliberation, and dialogue throughout the curriculum, we will offer our young men an opportunity to engage other bright young minds across the United States through a competitive interscholastic debating program. An investment in this area supports tournament attendance, summer debate institute tuition, resources for research, and argument instruction from experts in the field.
